FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

This is a list of common questions asked by users.

How do I download OpenCloudSave?

You will find installation instructions on our github page at https://github.com/DavidDeSimone/OpenCloudSaves. For Linux users, we recommend downloading from Flathub or the Discover Store on Steam Deck.

Can you add support for XXX game?

Short Answer: Yes. The best way for your game to gain offical support is to post in our discord: https://discord.gg/BPQ3peQxXA

Does this work with EmuDeck/Emulators?

Yes. We are working on adding offical support for emulators, but in the mean time, you can manually add emulator save locations.

How do I add a custom game definition?

You can start by pressing the green 'Add Game' button in the upper left portion of the UI. Doing so will allow you to define a game definition.

I identified a bug, what should I do?

Please report all bugs to our github issue tracker, or via discord.

Will you add support for running this app in the background, or will you support a Decky Plugin?

Both of these are features that we want to support in a future update.
